Arsenal defender Cristhian Mosquera is stepping up his recovery from a hamstring issue. The Spaniard has not been able to play since he was forced off in the 1-0 win at Aston Villa on August 31 . Mosquera actually attended the 3-0 defeat to Brighton before the international break and he's now using the next few weeks to rebuild his condition as he looks to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. As reported by several Valencia-based news outlets, the young defender is currently using Los Che's facilities to sharpen his fitness and he was at their Paterna training complex on Thursday. Even though he now lives in north London, Mosquera regularly returns to the club he previously called home as his brother Yulian remains part of Valencia's youth academy. FOLLOW OUR ARSENAL FB PAGE! Mosquera started each of the Premier League champions' opening two top-flight matches, though Ezri Konsa is now partnering Gabriel Magalhaes in Mosquera's and William Saliba's absence. There is hope that he will be ready to return to Arsenal's match-day squad directly after the international break when the Gunners host Leeds United on October 10. Speaking ahead of the trip to Brighton, Arteta indicated Mosquera could well be in contention alongside the likes of Ben White, Jurrien Timber and Piero Hincapie. Mosquera and White didn't make the cut, however, there is positivity they will be able to help Arsenal navigate a tough run of fixtures after the international break. White picked up an issue with his groin in the recent 2-0 win over Sunderland and was withdrawn at half-time. He has played a lot of football in the opening weeks of the season as Timber was recovering from his own groin injury. Timber's fitness is being managed carefully now while he's away on international duty with the Netherlands. He will not play this evening against Germany in the Nations League as his workload is being managed. The right-back played 60 minutes last weekend at Brighton after being rested for the midweek Carabao Cup trip to Ipswich Town and there has also been word from France today that William Saliba might be fit to return for Arsenal in December, if all goes to plan.
